Always coming about two months after the Comics Convention held at the Tel Aviv Cinematheque is the Sci-Fi Festival. And since comics have much to do with sci-fi, that why it’s possible to find more than enough to do with comics there too.

Chuck Dixon could be a little clearer

With Robin’s solo book selling very low now, it’s now been announced that Chuck Dixon is coming back to writing the series. And, he’s making people all wonder:
More specifically, Dixon teased that there’s a new vigilante in town for Robin to face– a female vigilante. “But she doesn’t share the same lofty goals as Batman and Robin,” laughed Dixon. “We also see the return of an old friend, a

Dan DiDio as Titans editor: a Jemas style publicity stunt?

The webmaster of the Titans Tower, one of the best sites on the web for all Teen Titans related items just like SpiderFan is the best for Spider-Man items, found out that DiDio is going to be the personal editor for the current Titans volume, which now has Sean McKeever writing it:
Asked if he’ll bring elements similar to Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane into his work on Teen Titans, McKeever said that

A search that may take ages

I’m not surprised that the “search for Ray Palmer” is apparently going to be stretching quite a bit, even going as far as the Wildstorm universe, and it sounds to me like an attempt to fleece the money of those who’re hoping for something that’ll lead to a real payoff (or, bait-and-switch). The writer dealing with this particular saga is Ron Marz, and here’s where the near-comedy comes in:

Teacher in New England who wrote comic book

Well, it looks like I found an internet computer where I’m staying in Eilat after all, and for now, here’s an article from the Boston Globe about a teacher in Brockton, Mass, who put together a comic called Gunplay.

Going on a vacation to Eilat for three days

Tomorrow, I’ll be on my way to Eilat for a vacation, something that my company does every year in the fall. I have no idea if I’ll be able to get access to the internet while I’m there, but I’ll try. Until then, happy comics reading, everyone, and I’ll return to updating more when I get back in the next three days.

Here’s an article from the East Valley Tribune in Arizona about the new director of the Smoki Museum in Prescott that’s working on the art of comic books and talking about them as an art.

Did Raven screw up when she got a tattoo?

I found some very eyebrow raising news that brought to mind two things that Raven of the Teen Titans did, when she first began, and more recently.

First, let’s hark back to the time when Raven began her career as a crimefighter in the early 1980s. Whether or not she participated directly in the action, she was among the Titans who were investigating a mafia don who was running a drugs and

Well, that was an ordeal, but fortunately, I think I’ve found a fitting template at last

And from the webmasters resources site of Gecko and Fly; when I tried at Blogger Templates, none of those that I tried out seemed to load. I kept getting a throughly white screen with no template designs showing up for any of the items I tried to test. That was really strange. Fortunately, Gecko and Fly’s samples work perfectly with no flaws, and this is certainly a cool template.

And with that,

Oh great, the template isn’t working now

If you’re visiting this site through Internet Explorer, you may have found, as I just discovered, that the template does not seem to be working on that browser anymore, and probably not on Netscape either. I think I’ve been able to figure out why though: the site that was providing these templates may have moved them onto a different server! Oh well, I knew I was going to have to change the
